| Yesterday and today have been days of firsts. Yesterday was Simey's first meal of solids. I took a few pics from today's supper.

| Okay, so I live in the Ozarks and that shouldn't be that big of a deal. But it is really nice to get out of town sometimes. My mom came up for a visit since Terrell is away for military stuff. We've come to Branson.... and we have a hotel with high speed wireless!! YEAH! So, I'm finally posting pictures that I've told so many of you about.... You know, of Simey.  
Simeon (A.K.A. Charley Brown) There was another kid at day care also dressed as CB, but obviously MY kid was the best one.... (not that I'm biased or anything.) Sure do wish that I could rotate this picture... 
He loves hanging out with Dad, esp. after a bath. It's good to be clean! So Mom and I have been shopping in shifts. I found some good deals and it's tax free weekend in MO. That makes the deals even sweeter. The strangest thing I saw today was a Rolls Royace.... in the outlet mall parking lot. If you ride in a RR (assming you have a driver), do you really shop at outlet malls?! I guess this is not much stranger than repeatedly seeing a stretch limo on McKnight. One last pic: 
I just love his overalls. This pair declares that he is a "Baby Pilot." Is there not some type of age requirement to fly aircraft?! Have a great day. | | |

| Yeah, Simeon is asleep. Yesterday I took him to the doctor regarding his persistent cough. Turns out he has a mild ear infection as well. Did you know that the average kid in day care has 10-12 colds per year. Yuck. Poor Simy is already off to a bad track record. Let's try antibiotics round 2. But we did find out his weight. Yeah, he's not starving, although he can try to convince you of that at times. He turned 3 months on Saturday (I would have pictures if the computer was working properly) and he's right around 16 pounds. People keep telling me he's like a bowling ball, but I usually bowl with an 8 lb ball.... Simeon has been so smiley these days. Today, when I went to pick him up from daycare, he was sleeping. When I woke him up he looked up at me and gave me a big Simeon grin. I loved it! | | |
